Since January 2015 Miss Bailey Boo has been taking dance lessons at Astound Dance Academy. Out of all of activities she's tried dance seems to be her favorite one. At the end of the season there was a dance recital and Bailey's class had two dances: she did a great job!

Long time - no posts!

Wow, it's been a very long time since I updated the world on our lives. So much has happened since then that I don't even know where to begin. Let's see - how about to start with the main reason why I haven't blogged - his name in Ivan Lawrence Mullins. He's an adorable, sweet, funny & precious little munchkin who is also very needy and demanding. Ivan is 22 months old now, and in his short life he managed to accomplish a lot: he's learned how to walk, talk, eat & drink by himself, he can swim in our pool (with a floatie on), he broke his right foot by slipping on a book, he's getting very good at irritating his sister and at the same time both he and Bailey are learning how to play well with each other. There is one thing Ivan has not yet learned how to do - it is to sleep through the night. Occasionally he will tease us with a night or two of sleep, but then the following night he'd be up a couple of times just to remind us that he's still in control.  So, we are struggling with a lack of good sleep, but are hoping for it in the near future.

 

 

Happy Birthday, my "big" little munchkin Boo

Doesn't seem possible that Bailey turns two today! Where did these two years ago?  I am a proud mama of this amazing child, who is super sweet, smart, funny, loving, and just awesome. Here are a few of our latest stats:

Height:
Sleep: 8:00pm-7:00am & 1:00-3:00pm nap
Favorite Food: beans, cheese, cottage cheese, bread, bagels
Favorite Cartoon: Max & Ruby (Daddy and I liked it better when it was Dora and Boots)
Favorite Activities: drawing, dancing, listening to music, singing, playing piano, building blocks & reading books. She loves to play outside and get dirty. Now with colder and shorter days (and having a little brother) it's a bit more difficult to get out. Bailey also enjoys playing with Bo - unfortunately he doesn't like it nearly as much as she does. For some reason he doesn't find it enjoyable when she pulls his tail or ears, or when she squeals next to him, or when she tries to decorate him with her toys like a Christmas tree...silly Bo!
Absolute favorite activity - boss around her subordinates (Ivan and Bo).  
Favorite Music: we like to listen and sing pretty much everything. ABCs, Row Your Boat, Wheels on the Bus, Bailey Had a Little Lamb, If You Happy and You Know It, Down By The Bay, Old McDonald, Hot Dog, Itsy Bitsy Spider - these are on top of our list. We also like the following Russian songs: Жили у Бабуси, Дед Андрей, Коза Рогатая. On Fridays we have a music class, which Bailey enjoys very much. She gets to sing, play musical instruments and dance with a few of her little friends - very cute to watch :)
