It was a chilly Tuesday afternoon in April. I was sitting at my desk at Cole Realty working on my usual things when he opened the front door and bravely walked in. He had the biggest and most charming smile, the kind you’d see on a handsome movie star. As soon as he started talking to me I knew that there was something unusual about him, about the way he talks, about the way he carries himself. I liked it a lot – whatever it was!
A minute into our conversation my boss at that time (Dick Cole) walked out of his office and started talking to us. Jeremy said that he needed Dick’s help with few things for a big meeting he was having at his job. Since Jeremy just moved to the area only a couple of months before that he wasn’t familiar with Warsaw, and needed some help to get to know it. That is the story you might hear from Jeremy…
In reality the true story is actually a little different. A few days before he came to the office Sue Cole (another boss of mine) emailed him about this new girl in the office (me). She told him that he should meet me because we would be just perfect for each other. Jeremy did not need Dick’s help – he just wanted to meet that girl that would be perfect for him. His other excuse about stopping by my office was even cuter – he was in the neighborhood.
